# T4 Object Storage (TEMPAT)

> T4 is S3-compatible object storage in Indonesia from Dalang.io. Rp396 per GB per month (NET, before PPN), no egress fees, no per-request fees, billed in Rupiah. T4 reads as TEMPAT (Indonesian for "place": T + EMPAT, 4). Public beta.

## Facts

- Price: Rp396/GB/month NET (Rp396000/TB). Ingress, egress and API requests: Rp0. PPN 11%, or 12% when a month's NET reaches Rp250000000.
- API: S3 (SigV4, presigned URLs, multipart), path-style endpoint https://t4.dalang.io, region id-jkt-1. Tested with aws-cli, boto3, rclone.
- Data location: Dalang Data Center Pandeglang, Banten, Indonesia (the API region name id-jkt-1 is only a label).
- Contracting entity: PT Mashanz Sumber Terbuka for customers in Indonesia, Dalang Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) for international customers.
- Billing: hourly metering, monthly debit from Dalang credits; top-up via Xendit invoice.

## 100 TB simulation

- 100 TB stored + 100 TB outbound/month + 30M requests/month (1M/day, 50/50 read/write): T4 list-rate estimate Rp39600000 NET, PPN 11% Rp4356000, total Rp43956000.
- 100 TB is above the 50 GB self-serve quota; larger capacity is allocated through sales.

## Current limits (public beta)

- Account quota 50 GB; larger capacity goes through sales. From 1 PB: annual contract with a special price from sales (no list price).
- Maximum object size 100 MB.
- Object data is replicated across two racks (replication 010). There is still no object backup, no HA and no SLA; master, filer and S3 are single, and both racks share one data center. A site-wide failure can take the service down.
- Not available: versioning, object lock, lifecycle rules, virtual-host-style endpoints.
